NBL staff, wife, five kids found dead in Lagos

A staff of Nigeria Breweries Plc, Etim Edet, has been found dead along with his wife and five children in Lagos State.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, Ngozi Braide, said the discovery was made on May 1, 2014 at about 4pm.
The deceased, with his family members, were discovered inside their apartment at Bagido area of Ijede in Ikorodu locality.

Braide said: “Etim Edet was a staff of Nigeria Brewery Plc, Lagos.
“He was found dead with his wife and five children on their beds at his residence at Bagido area of Ijede.
“No sign of violence was seen on their bodies.
“The deceased were suspected to have died from generator fumes.
“The decomposed corpses have been removed to Ikorodu General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
“The incident is under investigation at Ijede Division.”
Braide also confirmed the rescue of three children from suspected kidnappers.
The kids were rescued by policemen attached to the Ojo Police Station, based on a tip-off.
She said: “”Policemen attached to Ojo Division acted on a tip-off and arrested one Iheanachor Collins of unknown address at CTU Point Iyana-Iba, with three male children allegedly abducted from one Iyabo Lawal at Ojo area of Lagos.
“The children were rescued and handed over to their parents.
“The case is now under investigation at Ojo Division.”
