APGA Screening Exercise : We were not Asked to Pay 1Million Naira - Aspirant

Following the recent rumour making rounds that APGA hierarchy asked each of the National Assembly Aspirants to pay the sum of 1million Naira before being screened have been described as false and also the handiwork of mischief -makers

When interviewed, Mr.Uche Onyilofor who aspires to represent Awka-North and South Federal Constituency if elected next year , told 247ureports, shortly after being screened that the exercise was properly organized and devoid of hanky-panky. Mr. Onyilofor however debunked allegation that they were asked to pay one million naira before being screened while admonishing people to be mindful of what they say in order not to incur the wrath of the law.
He however expressed profound confidence that APGA will conduct free and fair primaries to guarantee a level playing field for all and sundry contesting on the platform of the party.
Another aspirant for Anambra-East and West Federal Constituency Chief Mrs.Edith Ejezie who spoke through her spokesman Chief Ike Chinwuba said that she does not expect any negative outcome from the screening adding that there was no cause for alarm since the party has expressed its readiness to give all aspirants a level playing field.
She also expressed great confidence that she would scale through the primary elections and clinch the party's ticket in her constituency .Mrs.Ejezie however used the platform of the interview with journalists to prove her opponents wrong as rumour has it that she has the support of Governor Willie Obiano .
The aspirant explained that such rumours were baseless and unfounded as the State Governor was willing to support any candidate who wins the primary elections.
