D’banj Explains Why He Is Inviting Amber Rose To Nigeria

American diva, Amber Rose will be coming to Nigeria this week to host the 10th anniversary celebration and concert of music star D’banj, tagged ‘Feeling The Nigga Weekend’. Oh, okay, you knew that.
What you may not know, however, is why the Kokomaster settled for the lady whose marriage to rapper, Wiz Khalifa crashed last year.
In a chat with the NETng, the DB Records boss said: “It doesn’t matter what anybody thinks about that, what matters at the end of the day is what I want and everybody already knows that when it comes to access to having international friends, no one has it more than I do.
“No one has brought international acts to the country more than I’ve done. The likes of Hollywood actor, Idris Elba, rappers, Tinie Tempah, 2Chainz, Pusha T and several others….

“So it doesn’t matter what it’s costing me and more so if it was all about the money, you probably would have heard adverts from last year about it, so for me it’s not about the money, it’s about having a great kick-off and believe me during the course of the year so many other people will come that will make you wonder: ‘how did D’banj do this.’”
Oh, by the way, he calls the event a party and he’s got even more greater plans for the 10th anniversary celebration: “And I call it a party because I’m inviting people to come and have fun and celebrate with me.
“Then throughout the year, we’ll visit different cities, different nations, we’ll be partying in some and at some places we’ll be having the Koko concert. In the last couple of months, I’ve been working on the 10th anniversary album that will be dropping this year, you might have seen the movie trailer as well, and I call it a movie musical.
“The full plan will be rolled out next month, but this first night with Amber Rose is just to party. For me, most people that know my story know how I always move, it’s always a movement, no one is an island, I know my talent, I’m a great entertainer by God’s grace so I’m planning to entertain everyone throughout the whole year, it’s a movement of D’banj and friends, I’ll be sharing the stage with a lot of people through the year.”
