But Ojukwu in the Wednesday press briefing said that apart from being sponsored, the SUG president is facing impeachment process and he had wanted the school authority to help him, but the school refused because it would not want to take side.
He said that Eyisi had no powers to protest for levies on candidates who had not been admitted by the university.
to him., saying the issues he raised clearly showed that he was sponsored to destabilise the university,
Ojukwu said that about four lecturers had been suspended by the university authorities for extorting money from students and more were facing disciplinary panels, noting” these people are fighting back”..
Adding his voice, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Students Union Government,Martin Nworah, and about seven other members, including the Vice-President, Precious Oazems, distanced themselves from the action of Eyisi, saying that his actions amounted to a distraction to delay his impeachment as students’ president which according to them was already in progress.
