Stakeholders Accuse Governor Obiano of Alleged Favoritism in Appointment and Allocation of State Resources



A group, Anambra State G177, has allegedly accused the governor of Anambra State, Mr. Willie Obiano of favoritism and employing anti-democratic mechanism to allocate about 270 Nigeria police recruitment slots for the state to his native town, Aguleri, in Anambra East Local Government Area.
The governor was alleged to have manipulated the ongoing Nigeria Police Recruitment exercise to be in Favour his home town and other political appointments not leaving out allocation of the state's resources, which according to the union ought to have been evenly distributed among the state 21 LGA, with full representation of the 177 communities in the state.
  This was made public in a press release made available to Ashiwaju.org Thursday, signed by its Coordinator, Ikechukwu Emeka Onyia and Secretary, Chidi Arinze, therefore called on the state house of assembly members, National Assembly Members and stakeholders to ensure that the alleged injustice is addressed to the benefit of the people and would serve as the hope that would restore the confidence reposed in the state government.
Efforts made by our correspondent to confirm this report from Anambra state commissioner for information, Culture and Tourism,   Barrister  Uju Nwogu was proved abortive, when she ignored his conversation with a snag  without recourse to offer any explanation to the effect.
