Effort by President Muhammadu Buhari to give Owelle Chukwuma Azikiwe, first son of Nigeria’s first President, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe a befitting burial had run into stormy waters as the trio of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, HRH Alfred Achebe, Obi of Onitsha and Ambassador Emeka Azikiwe (Owelle’s sibling) had fixed an impromptu burial, apparently aimed at ensuring that Buhari’s presence is frustrated.

The stance of the trio had caused great tension within the Azikiwe family and Onitsha leaders that some groups had vowed to boycott the burial slated for Saturday, 12th of September, 2015, if efforts to get Buhari in physical attendance is deliberately frustrated.

20 Questions in 10 minutes as 200 students of Unizik slumped during post UTME

It was true prospective students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Anambra state wrote their post UTME aptitude tests in a hurry as they had 20 questions to provide answers in 10 minutes.
That was strange as complaints have trailed the exams but the management has dismissed the allegation that over 200 students of the University (UNIZIK) slumped while writing the post-UTME examination on Monday.
UNIZIK management also said nobody died but admitted they bite more than they could chew.
According to the Director of Information and Public Relations, Emmanuel Ojukwu who debunked the allegations, only three students slumped and they were resuscitated at the school’s clinic.

President Buhari in Close Door Meeting With Tinubu And Akande To Perfect Ministeial Appoinmentn

Former President Obasanjo Holds Another Secret Meeting With President Buhari





Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday held another secret meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Such meeting was first held at official residence of the president earlier last month.
The meeting which lasted for over an hour was also held behind closed doors in the President’s office for over an hour.
Obasanjo who wore a flowing white gown ( Agbada ) refused to speak with State House Correspondents on his mission to the presidential villa despite all entreaties.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has endorsed the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson for a second term citing his excellent track record of regular payment of workers salaries, reduction of the state’s huge debt profile and infrastructural development.
The former President who spoke while receiving Governor Dickson at his country home, Otuoke in Ogbia Local Government Area of the state, said his decision was based on the developmental strides of the governor in the last three and half years in the state.

The Anambra State Judiciary Staff Union (JUSUN) has embarked on indefinite strike owing to the negligence of the state government to implement the consolidate judicial workers salary structure .
