Anambra state police command has arrested 23 youths for allegedly killing his personnel over disputed landed property in Dunukofia LGA, Anambra state .
The youths were alleged to have invaded a site where construction of police station project was been carried out and destroyed the process bearing explosive devices to stall the exercise .
Addressing Newsmen at the site in Dunukofia LGA, the commissioner of police Anambra state, Sam Okaula said the youths stormed the place claiming that their land was forcefully seized by the command without paying due compensation to the community.
Narrating the incident to newsmen, Commissioner Okaula explained that the bandits numbering over 20 stormed the arena with dynamites, guns, battle axe and several other weapons to disrupt the exercise.
He said he lost one of his personnel in the course of the event while several other sustained various degree of injuries, adding that two police operational vehicles where burnt down and great damages made on the buildings.

Anambra police authority however alleged that the attack would have been masterminded by some personel with questionable characters living in the community, who are apprehensive of having a police station situated in their locality to forestall their wicked operation in the community.
