The least has not been heard to the purported endorsement of Governor Willie Obiano for a second term in office by the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, many have described the act as preschoolery, which they least expected would come from the erudite scholar.
Among those is the aspirant of the All Progressive Congress in the November 18th governorship election in Anambra state, Engineer Barth Nwibe, who said the call by the former CBN governor was a selfish act of reaching out which tend to get a kick-back from governor to return same come 2022.
He outlined some of the decay experienced under the state ruling party All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, which according to him would be corrected by an APC government.
Engineer Nwibe regretted that the state has lost grip with the centre, assured that the state would witness a new lift of development if considered an APC candidate to take over from where Governor Willie Obiano stopped.
