Voters in Awka have expressed displeasure over the operation of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the ongoing Voter Registration exercise and  demand for improve service delivery.
While calling for an extension of time to enable them get registered,
they are also complaining about the shortage of manpower which leads to delay in the registration and collection Permanent Voter Card process.

What ought to be a calm exercise is turning into a crisis as prospective voters are been chased out and others left with hopes that they might just get registered eventually.

Residents of Akwa and environ have requested for a review of the ongoing voter registration exercise that would afford prospective voter the opportunity to get registered without undue delays and physical assault on them.
