Fast-rising gospel artiste, Kayode Akinrele, popularly called Hephzibah, in a chat with Saturday Beats, said that he has found fulfilment in his calling as a minister of God through his songs. The singer emphasized that he doesn’t consider gospel music a career; rather it is simply a pursuit of his life’s purpose.
He said, “Gospel music is not a career to me; it is my priority life purpose and I cannot leave it for anything else. That is also the reason I pursue it with so much zeal. It is not about the rewards I would get from it, rather, it is more about the number of lives that I am able to draw to Christ through my music.”

Explaining the concept behind his newest single, ‘Must Glorify,’ Hephzibah said, “The key message is that I realise that I am born to glorify God the father through the son in my life and therefore call everyone to assimilate the power which we all desire. In essence, if we glorify God, He would give us everything we need, so it is very important and necessary for everyone to glorify God. There is much more that God wants to do and we must realise it and implement the process in excellence and in faith for the avalanche of results to follow.”
