Ohaneze Ndigbo Youths Threaten Ngige, Nnamani, Okorocha, Kalu Others with Sanction

The leadership of the Ohaneze Ndigbo youths wing worldwide has commended the decision of their parent body for endorsing the joint ticket of the People’s Democratic party presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his vice Sir Peter Obi as the choice of Ndigbo in the February 16th 2019 presidential election.
They said the decision will resonate positive feelings for Ndigbo who before now were yet to decide of who to vote for the in the next month presidential election.
The Ohaneze youths wing worldwide made the resolution at the national executive meeting held at Nike Lake Hotel Enugu state, promised to carry out the resolution of their parent body to the later, to ensure Ndigbo speak with one voice in the forthcoming general elections.

Addressing journalists in Enugu after their meeting, the national president of the Ohaneze Ndigbo youths wing worldwide, Amb. Dr. Arthur Uchenna Obiorah expressed hope that the decision of the Ime-Obi of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide will restore confidence in the minds of Ndigbo to now openly declare their support the presidential candidate of the PDP in the February 16TH presidential election.
The Ohaneze Ndgibo youths wing worldwide wing further deliberated and resolved that henceforth the union will commence action to ensure the resolutions reach by the Ime-Obi of Ohaneze Ndigbo is given a firsthand charge to ensure its impact is felt in the 7 Igbo speaking states of Nigeria .
The youths organization however threatened to sanction individuals found wanting in the bid to subvert the decisions reached by Igbo highest social cultural organization, which according to them in  the collective interest of Ndigbo worldwide.
The National president of the Igbo socio cultural youth wing said, ‘’ We are poised to sanction anyone who may want to work contrary to the general decision of our parent body, Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide.
‘’ we the youths are ready to expose saboteurs in our midst and ensure Ndigbo worldwide are made to buy into the collective decision of Ime-Obi, the highest  body of the Ohanze Ndigbo worldwide on whose position is regarded as laws in Igbo land, I repeat, no Sabo will have a say again in Igboland. He threatened.
The Ohaneze Ndigbo youths worldwide also resolve to henceforth embark of massive mobilization of Igbo youths across the states of Anambra,Enugu, Abia,Imo, Ebonyi, Delta and Rivers state.
They promised to move at the speed of light to ensure the resolution of the Ohanze Ndigbo is carried out to the later, promising to deliver bulk votes to the join ticket of the PDP presidential candidate and his vice in the coming election’
‘We are ready to move at the speed of light to reach out to all Igbo youths across the seven Igbo speaking states and beyond, we will mobilize our members to commence the advocacy that Igbo Highest Social Cultural group has spoken and the decision of our fathers must be respected by all Igbo sons and daughters. Obiorah exclaimed.
Among some of the resolutions reached in the meeting was the unanimous vote on confidence passed on the leadership of Amb. Dr. Arthur Uchenna Obiorah and the charge to all Igbo sons and daughter to become ambassadors of ensuring the decisions of Ohaneze Ndigbo re being carried out in the general interest of Ndigbo worldwide.
The Ohaneze Ndgibo worldwide had on Thursday  issued  a communiqué which talked about the decision of the Ime-Obi to adopt Atiku/Obi followed a critical and dispassionate appraisal of the issues.
It said the body analysed the election manifestos of the various contesting parties, especially with regards to the restructuring of the federation and continued relevance of Ndigbo in the Nigerian geopolitical space.

“That the presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has made an avowed commitment to restructuring of the federation and reconfirmed same during his recent visit to the United States in his meetings with high-level US officials,” it said.
