It said the governor’s reelection was a reflection on his humane attitude towards improving the people’s welfare through government, an action they claimed has forced his people to continue believing in his ability to deliver more democracy dividends to them.
The council of South East traditional rulers made this assertion at a courtesy visit to the governor of Enugu state, said Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi deserves his reelection, counting on the testimonies from people about his sterling leadership qualities, which bother on human and infrastructural development.
The leader of the group and traditional ruler of Onitsha Kingdom,IGWE NNEMEKA Alfred-Achebe,, commended the governor to providing a serene environment in the just concluded polls, which placed Enugu state as the most peaceful state that was crisis free in the polls.
The council of traditional rulers South East also extolled the leadership of the South East Governors Forum for mediating in their zonal leadership communication gap, which he said has been laid to rest due to their mediation, according to him, it has restored sanctity to the camp of the zonal traditional institutions.
