The bandits storms Katsira village in large number with sophisticated weapon where they ambushed and killed several security personnel a source in the village revealed
The source says suspected bandits stormed the village on Saturday evening to rustle cattle, but villagers alerted security personnel.
Responding to the distress call from the village, men of the Nigeria army were ambushed and attacked by the bandits
The Police public relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police Sadiq Abubakar confirmed the attack to TVCNEWS in a telephone chat, but cannot confirmed the casualty figures
Mr. Abubakar says some security personnel are still missing in action but number of casualties can't be confirmed as information on the attack is still sketchy.
He promised to address the press at the conclusion of investigation
