Former Chairman Police Service commission, Simon Okeke has described the operation of attacking host communities by the herdsmen as an act of terrorism which should be discouraged.
He called on federal government to quickly address in the herdsmen dilemma before it gets out of control.
The former police boss stated this at Umuchu, Aguata LGA of Anambra state, while fielding question from newsmen,  charged state governments to ensure the activities of the Fulani herdsmen are put on check.

He commended the Ekiti state governor for taking the lead by providing a quick solution to checkmate the herdsmen’s attack on their host communities, called on other state governor to take a leave from what Ekiti state governor is doing to address the situation and ensure peace is maintained.
He condemned in strong term where cattle would be allowed to flock around people’s vicinity, destroying farm produce and other valuables, suggested that they should have a designated point to discharge their cattle for buyers to patronize them.
Correspondent Bamidele Ajayi reports that the police former boss call was one among other notable calls in the country, challenging the incessant attacks been carried out by the Fulani Herdsmen on their host communities which people said it should be discouraged.
