The committee made the commendation when it inspected the ongoing road project as part of its oversight responsibilities.
The committee which spoke through its Chairman, Dr. Ikechukwu Umeh observed that, earth work is going on at the project site while construction of drains is in progress.
Other members of the Committee, Dr, Timothy Ifedioramma representing Njikoka One Constituency and the member for Nnewi South One Constituency, Mr. Kingsley Iruba commended the Firm for being on site.
On his part, the Project Manager, Mr. Tony Madi told the Committee that the fourteen point five kilometre road has been asphalted up to four kilometres while earthworks has advanced to nine kilometers, assuring that they would step up the project as soon as the rains subsides.
