NEWLY APGA Defected Lawmaker Promises to Change Igbo Narrative Towards APC

Following his defection from All progressive grand alliance (APGA) to the All Progressive Congress (APC), the member representing aguata 1 constituency Hon. Ikem Uzoezue has formally paid his first official visit to the party state secretariat to meet with the state working committee and members of the party at the state level.



Ikem said he is happy to be in the party that the party offers equal opportunity to the women and the young people in the state and that the party possesses the quality to take over Anambra state government.
The only APC lawmaker in Anambra state house of Assembly thanked the members and party executives for receiving him into the party, promised to do everything possible to make sure the ideals of the party permeates the grassroots.

 In his remark, the state chairman of the All Progressive Congress, said his defection is a good news to the party Basil Ejidike, said the party is expecting more defection from other of his colleagues to enable them bring down more federal presence to the state.
He said APC is ready to spring up surprises in the 2021 gubernatorial election.
The newly defected lawmaker regretted that Ndigbo are yet to come terms, by connecting selves to the centre politics, he promised to change the narrative by embarking on grassroots sensitization to educate his people President Muhammadu Buahri has been able to achieve in the past four years for Ndigbo and to ensure APC becomes a rallying point for Ndigbo in coming elections.
