BREAKING: OGUN DEPUTY SPEAKER, DARE KADIRI IMPEACHED



The Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Dare Kadiri, has been impeached.

His removal came after a-five man  Committee constituted on Monday by the Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo to investigate allegations levelled against him submitted its report. 

The Committee led by Yusuf Sheriff found him guilty of gross misconduct.

It will be recalled that the Deputy Speaker was arrested by the Ogun state police command for an alleged assault during the revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress in the state.

The Deputy Speaker Dare Kadiri who is representing Ijebu-North at the State House of Assembly was arrested after he allegedly led suspected hoodlums to invade residence of the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, in Oru-Ijebu, Ijebu North Local Government Area of the State.

18 of the 26 house of Assembly members adopted the report of the Committee and supported his removal.
