Just in: 24 Boko Haram Fighters killed As MNJTF battle Terrorists in Borno

 



Following the aftermath of a battle between the Multinational Joint Task Force  and Boko Haram fighters  at the Lake Chad region area in northern Borno state, It was revealed that 24 members of the terrorists group were killed and 5 of their gun trucks destroyed.


TVC News gathered that 16 military officers sustained varies degree of injuries but are in stable condition.


The Troops also arrested 17 terrorists’ fighters, who are currently being profile.


Military sources say many of the terrorists also fled with gun injuries as soldiers sustained heavy fire power on them.



The Operation was conducted to facilitate the return of internally displaced persons and refugees to towns and communities in the fringes of Lake Chad.
