Multiple award-winning Nigerian pop duo of Peter and Paul Okoye with the group name ‘P-Square’ has disclosed that they do not live together with their respective wives. Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has dismissed the call by former Bayelsa State Governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha asking him to beg Jonathan and return to the PDP.The former Governor, who was convicted but later granted pardon by President Goodluck Jonathan, had made the call in an interview with New Telegraph newspaper at the weekend.Alamieyeseigha had stated that: “I think there is no problem between Governor Amaechi and President Goodluck Jonathan.

Three Ebola Cases Recorded In Rivers, More Could Follow-----Onyebuchi


Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu on Monday, confirmed that a total of three new Ebola cases has been recorded in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Last week, Chukwu confirmed Saharareporters’ story that a doctor, Iyke Enemuo died in Port Harcourt after treating an ECOWAS employee, Olu-Ibukun Koye, who disregarded government warning and travelled to Rivers State after contracting Ebola from the index case, Patrick Sawyer.

60 Ebola Contacts Yet To Be Found In Rivers State-------State Government


The Rivers State government has said about 60 people, out of close to 200 that had primary and secondary contacts with the late Dr Ikechukwu Sam Enemuo, who died of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in Port Harcourt, the state capital, are yet to be found. Also, the state government has placed a ban on the movement of corpses within and outside the state without death certificates and explanations on the cause of such deaths, and has directed the police to demand such documents from ambulances conveying such corpses in the state.This is as the state governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, will today meet with leaders of churches in the state, while a meeting with the traditional rulers will hold tomorrow, Tuesday, over the spread of the Ebola virus in the state.
