The Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Dare Kadiri, has been impeached.

His removal came after a-five man  Committee constituted on Monday by the Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo to investigate allegations levelled against him submitted its report.

Update: Nigeria Airforce plan crash

 

This is to confirm that a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft crashed while returning to the Abuja Airport after reporting engine failure enroute Minna. First responders are at the scene.

Breaking: Aircraft crashes in Abuja, six passengers perish

 

A NigerianAir Force NAF201 a Boeing 350 aircraft crashed today in Abuja.

A source close to the airport told our correspondent that the aircraft, which departed Abuja   at 1033UTC with six persons on board including two crew, crashed barely 15 minutes later.

South West Governors oppose open grazing
