What was the attraction to your wife, Idara? What kind of attraction, physical, emotional or spiritual?
All of the above… She is like a gold fish which has no hiding place. I spotted her at a wedding.
At what point did you know she was your wife?
I can’t say I knew she would be my wife the first day we met. We interacted a little. At a point, I just got to know she is reasonable, real, homely, God-fearing and above all, she is not perfect.
And she knows I’m not either. I saw the prospect of her tolerating me. Later, I just decided to ask the big question, “will you marry me?”

The Taraba State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has called on the state House of Assembly to as a matter of urgency commence an impeachment move against the acting Governor of the state, Alhaji Garba Umar.

Addressing a press conference at the CAN secretariat in Jalingo yesterday, the state Chairman of CAN, Rt. Rev Timothy Yahaya, said the call for the acting governor’s impeachment had become imperative due to what it described his failure to protect the lives and properties of the people of the state particularly Christians.

One of kidnappers, lady pictured above, was caught yesterday with 3 kids and that she was pretending to be a mad woman. Monarch Uuges President Jonathan to Run For 201 Election

The Oba of Benin, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa, on Friday in Abuja enjoined President Goodluck Jonathan to contest for the 2015 Presidential Election to enable him continue his good work for the country.
Erediauwa, who made the call when he addressed State House correspondents in Abuja, after a closed-door meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan, said his kingdom had since embarked on special prayers for the success of the president in next year’s general elections.
The Oba, who was represented by his Son, Prince Eheneden Erediauwa, said the kingdom had also embarked on special prayers for the continued survival of Nigeria as a geo-political entity.

Caught on camera beating girlfriend 117 times, Indian-origin CEO escapes jail: report

An Indian-origin entrepreneur has escaped jail in the US despite being caught on camera beating his girlfriend 117 times in 30 minutes, reports Huffington Post. RadiumOne CEO Gurbaksh Chahal has been sentenced to three years' probation, 52 weeks in a domestic violence training programme and 25 hours of community service.
In a series of tweets, Chahal has called the allegations against him false. "I maintain my innocence regarding these exaggerated allegations. I got cornered to accept a misdemeanor plea with a $500 fine to resolve the matter and move on with my life."
Chahal, once named one of America's "most eligible bachelors", was arrested last August when his girlfriend called 911 and reported domestic violence. She reportedly told police officers that she was unable to breathe and Chahal told her four times, "I'm going to kill you."

As Nigeria battles the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, the Spiritual Leader of One Love Family, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji, has said that he had revealed the sponsors of the sect to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Former Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Commassie, on Thursday, challenged the President to name the sponsors of Boko Haram based on the security report with Federal Government.
Guru who recently declared that both sponsors of the group and those behind the April 14 bombing at Nyanya Park in Abuja that claimed scores of lives would face repercussions of their action before the end of October revealed during an interview with our correspondent: “I had told President Goodluck Jonathan those behind these nest of killers (Boko Haram) through several publications.”
He named some former military rulers, a former Vice President, and some leaders in the North as financiers of the group. “I have asked the President to arrest them before now because they said after the 2011 general elections that because power did not return to the North, they would make the nation ungovernable.

A former Inspector General (IG) of Police, Ibahim Commassie, on Thursday challenged President Goodluck Jonathan to disclose the identity of suspected sponsors of the Boko Haram sect.
Commassie who is a delegate and a co-chairman of the National Conference Committee on Devolution of Power, spoke yesterday in Abuja shortly after his committee embarked on a lunch break.
The President had claimed that not long ago at a church service in the nation’s capital that Boko Haram members had infiltrated his government.

How Three Kidnappers Were Burnt To Death In Osun

It was a great scene in Osun state Yesterday as three suspected kidnappers were burnt to death in different parts of Osogbo, the Osun state capital. It was gathered that the suspected kidnappers were apprehended by youths at the various locations before a mob eventually set them ablaze.

One of the suspected kidnappers was burnt to death at Ayetoro area of Osogbo by a mob, while the other two were burnt at Plantation and Igbona areas of the town.

A suspected kidnapper had earlier on Thursday escaped being lynched by irate youths at Olaiya area of the town and it was gathered that the confession of the suspect who reportedly confessed that he had nine other colleagues in the town prompted youths of different areas to be vigilant.

The suspect who was however beaten to pulp before he was rescued by the Police and a soldier who were on transit reportedly confessed that the 10 of them came from outside the state to kidnap young children in Osogbo and its environs.
