Some  staff  of Anambra State Ministry of Housing  were recently appreciated with multiple awards in both cash and gifts as a way of marking the end of the year and appreciating workers'  performance and contributions in the ministry in 2023 .

Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s drive to weed touts out of Anambra State has given a bloody nose to the devil-may-care miscreants. It is of course expected that evil doers would always try to fight back by claiming to be victims. It is against this background that some  residents of Okpoko community in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State recently staged a protest against operatives of the State Anti-Touting Agency (SASA), claiming that they killed some of their residents.

Eco who spoke with journalists after a recent performance in Awka, stated that he buys then in parts from three different countries, before they are assembled and sent down to him.

Freezing of LG Accounts by Acting Governor untrue - Ondo govt

 



The Ondo state government has faulted the news going round some media platforms that the Acting Governor, Lucky  Ayedatiwa has frozen  local government accounts.The state government described the news as false and misleading. A statement issued by the state Commissioner for information and orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju urged officials of local governments to disregard the rumour.

New Artisan Collapsed bridge: Enugu to reopen Port Harcourt expressway for Christmas

 


The Enugu State Government has said it will reopen one lane of the Enugu- Port-Harcourt expressway collapsed bridge for use by Dec. 24.

The State Commissioner for Works, Mr Gerald Otiji, disclosed this while briefing newsmen after the State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House, Enugu on Friday.The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalled that Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State, had on Nov. 9, announced that Federal Government would commence the reconstruction work on the collapsed bridge.
