The Executive Director, Social and Integral Development Centre, SIDEC, Ugochi Agalaba-Ehiahuruike, says the organization is poised to increase the level of awareness about climate change in Anambra State.
Ehiahuruike disclosed this during an advocacy visit to the State Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, as part of its project tagged, "Climate Change and You", supported by Action Aid Nigeria and funded by the Global Affairs Canada.

The car which is valued at about N5 Million was snatched from where it was parked at Achalla Awka-North Local Government Area of the state and was traced to Nise in Awka-South council area where it was recovered by officers of the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service.

The Enugu State Government has pledged its support to sports activities and development within Custodial Centres in Enugu State.
The state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Lloyd Ekweremadu, made the pledge after watching a novelty match played in his honour in the Football Pitch of Enugu Maximum Custodial Centre on Wednesday.
Ekweremadu, who was highly impressed by the talents displayed by the inmates during the match, noted that the state government through his ministry would see how best to harness the football and other sporting talents within the centre.

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has announced the cut over to its new vending system, SuperEdge, following a successful rollover in readiness for the Standard Transfer Specification (STS) prepaid meter upgrade.
The company noted that with the successful technological and technical rollover completed on Saturday, Feb. 24; South-East residents can now upgrade their prepaid meters seamlessly and without any monetary charge henceforth.
