Members of Anambra State Association Of Town Unions (ASATU) numbering over 300 hundred recently embarked on Solidarity March on the streets of Awka the Anambra State Capital. 

The group led by its national president, Barrister Titus Akpudo (Ichaka , Egbe eji egbu agu) marched through the popular Ekwueme square to Anambra State secretariat and back to Ekwueme square. The Enugu State Government has pledged its support to sports activities and development within Custodial Centres in Enugu State.

Successful technical rollover: EEDC urges South-East residents to upgrade meters seamlessly

 


The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has announced the cut over to its new vending system, SuperEdge, following a successful rollover in readiness for the Standard Transfer Specification (STS) prepaid meter upgrade.

The company noted that with the successful technological and technical rollover completed on Saturday, Feb. 24; South-East residents can now upgrade their prepaid meters seamlessly and without any monetary charge henceforth.
