Investor drags Anambra govt to court over alleged breach of contract

OPERATORS of the multi million naira Urban Motor Park terminal located at the popular Upper Iweka area of the commercial city of Onitsha have dragged the  Anambra State government to court over alleged breach of contract.

Strike: We'll Not Welcome Our New Governor With Industrial Action - ASUU COOU

The entire members of Progressive Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, COOU, have unanimously opposed to the industrial action about to be embark upon by ASUU National, stating that it would be out of place to welcome the incoming University's visitor with Industrial action which according to them, had not yielded any result

Immigration releases Peter Odili's passport

 

 

The Nigerian Immigration Service says it has released the passport seized from former governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili.


 
Counsel to NIS Jimoh Adamu told the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja  that Mr Odili's daughter, Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, a serving judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), collected the passport for her father on 20th December 2021 at the Immigration headquarters in Abuja.
