Maverick entertainer Charly Boy,  (real name Charles Oputa), on Monday said prominent musicians, Dbanj and Terry G would perform at a concert to mark the death of his father, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa.

Oputa, the former Justice of the Supreme Court (JSC), died Sunday afternoon at the National Hospital in Abuja at the age of 96 after recovering from a brief illness.

Fashola threatens to sanction churches, mosques over noise pollution

The Lagos State Government on Tuesday threatened to sanction any church or mosque found  disturbing public peace with noise from their loud speakers.

The Commissioner for the Environment, Mr Tunji Bello, issued the threat at his Ministry’s 2014 Ministerial Press Briefing in Ikeja.

Oni made known his decision in Ifaki Ekiti on Monday during Fayemi’s visit to his residence before the campaign rally held in the town.
