The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano is expected to perform the formal unveil of a brand new identity (logo and pay-off line)of the Anambra State Broadcasting Service (ABS) as part of the station’s repositioning and rebranding strategy. The brand identity unveil is the highpoint of a 4 - day strategy session to review the station’s operations, people and processes, and also chart a new course to meet the challenges in the media sector such as rising competition and the demands of digitization. The session which is being organized by the new management and sponsored by DFID - SAVI will hold fromTuesday, September 9, 2014 to Friday September 12, 2014, and attendance is strictly by invitation.

Obiano concludes tour of 21 LGAs, tackles waterways emergencies

The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has concluded his thank-you tour of 21 Local Government Areas of the State with stops at Anambra West and Anambra East LGAs, mostly riverine and agricultural basin with a promise to ensure prompt response to emergencies in the riverine communities by providing floating boat ambulances on the state waterways. Governor Obiano who was speakingThursday at Umueze Anam headquarters of Anambra West said that two of the ambulances would be floated in the area to serve the people of the region.

He Executive Governor of Anambrra state, Chief Willie Obiano has charged other local government chairmen in the state to take a leave from the Emergency Mobile Clinic constructed by the Anambra East L.G. Chairman, that will serve as first aid, and reduced the number of death by road accidents in  the state.

He gave the charge while commissioning a three bedroom hospital attachments plus one standby ambulance , constructed by the Anambra East Local Government Chairman, Chief Hillary Udanoh in  Onochie community of the LG.

The Executive governor of Anambra state Chief  Willie Obiano has reiterated its administration resolve to ensure that the Nchechukwu –Onochie –Ezu River road Aguleri , Anambra Eastt LGA,  is actualized before the end of the year.

Speaking while flagging off the four kilometer road at Nchechukwu round about, he  said the realization of the project will be the state government Christmas gift to the people of the region.

Anambra state governor, Chief Willie Obiano has assured the speedy completion of the forty-seven Kilometer Aguleri-Orient Oil Rig road projects, which  will boost socio-economic activities in the state.
