Simi, LAX, Mayorkun, Humblesmith, Mr. Real and other artistes, on Thursday, joined Mavin artiste, Reekado Banks, to perform at the grand finale of the Closeup Cool Breeze #CoolLikeThat Lagos campus party. The event took place at the University of Lagos Sports Complex.
It was the Lagos edition for the #CoolLikeThat campus parties and music challenge at major universities in Nigeria.
 Among the institutions are University of Port Harcourt, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and the University of Benin. Winners got a unique opportunity to perform on stage with Reekado Banks.

To be honest, it’s not fair that I have a song on my phone. I’ve listened to it. Chinese man arrested over N494m elephant tusks

The Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit,  Zone A, has intercepted sacks of elephant tusks and pangolin shells with a combined duty paid value  of N493.5m.
The unit also arrested a Chinese suspect, Mr. Ko Sin Ying, in connection with the items.
Displaying the items at the FOU headquarters in Ikeja on Thursday, the Controller, NCS, FOU, Mohammed  Garba, said the seizures comprised 55 sacks of pangolin shells weighing 2,001 kilogrammes and valued at N408.32m and 218 pieces of elephant tusks weighing 343kg and valued at N85.2m.

Authorities in Cambodia on Friday arrested 36 suspects who are Cambodian, Taiwan and Thailand nationals on suspicion of running a telecoms scam to defraud victims abroad, national military police commander, Sao Sokha, said.
Cambodia, a staunch ally of China, has deported hundreds of Chinese and Taiwanese nationals in recent years in a crackdown on internet and telecoms scams orchestrated from different places in Cambodia, including Phnom Penh.

Trafficking: DSS, NAPTIP rescue 16 women at Abuja airport

Operatives of the Department of State Services and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons on Thursday rescued 16 women who were being allegedly trafficked to Saudi Arabia at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the victims, whose ages ranged between 15 and 60 years, were rscued at the airport after a tip-off, while two suspected traffickers leading them were arrested.

It was gathered that the two suspects, whose names had yet to be disclosed, were in the DSS custody.
Also, the passports of the suspects had reportedly been seized by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service.
