POLICE REPEL ATTACK ON IMO POLICE HEADQUARTERS



Police in Imo State have repelled an attack on its headquarters by unknown gunmen early hours of Sunday. 

The attempted attack is coming two months hoodlums attacked the same police headquarters and the State correctional centre in Owerri freeing over 1800 inmates and burnt vehicles.

20 DIE IN FATAL CAR CRASH ALONG ZARIA-KANO HIGHWAY

 

Not less than twenty person have been killed in accident along Zaria-Kano road.

This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Kaduna State commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

According to him, the fatal crash between a hummer bus belonging to Kano line and a private Toyota Rav4 SUV occurred in the afternoon on Saturday, fifth June 2021.

A  trailer on Friday rammed into hawkers at Kwata junction, Awka, Anambra State and reportedly killed about eight persons.

Eyewitness account revealed that Eight children hawking at the traffic point at Kwata junction flyover were killed by a lorry carrying cows.

Just in: Catholic Church bans Ejike Mbaka from Commenting on political matters

The Catholic Diocese of Enugu has banned Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), from commenting on partisan politics.

The Catholic church. also resolved that Mbaka  will no longer solely oversee the activities of the ministry as its spiritual director.
