Four Killed, Many Injured In Kaduna Christian-Muslim Violence

A local government official has told SaharaReporters that four persons   were died in the Christian and Muslim violence that erupted on Sunday Kachia town outside Kaduna city.

The official who did not want to be named said the dusk to dawn curfew imposed in the area since  Sunday remained in place as tension reigns in the township. Social and economic activities remains paralyzed in the township of Kachia where Muslim and Christians militias slugged it out burning mosques and churches.
 The source added that scores of people sustained wounds from machete attacks and gunshot wounds claiming that the crisis lasted till Monday morning.
“Four corpses were recovered today and the corpses have been recognized. This is what we know, and the town is now calm," he said.
