He lamented that a celebrity of international repute like OMOTOLA would align herself to such uncanny statement rather than show her utmost support to a man that sacrificed personal aggrandizement to safe the country from being plunged into chaos and political disharmony.

He frowned at the manner at which some rich Nigerians would consider the soul-trekking- exercise as a waste of time and energy, but relates it to an incident that would have been for the country, perhaps the election turned out to be a national disaster.
''I want to dissociate myself from Omotola's statement accredited to the trekkers, because, she did not mention my name in her twitter posts, I don't also blame her because I got to know that she was not in the country when the presidential election was held, believing that the nation would have gone the way it was prophesied by many prophets of doom''
''Why are we not going to celebrate a man that scarified his exulted office to make sure we leave in peace and harmony and to also prove wrong what the international communities have said about Nigeria going to disintegrate by 2015 "" he said.
when asked if he has received any message from President Goodluck Jonathan and his family, he sounded sure that though non has come from the president and his family but he is fulfilled been received by the people and traditional ruler of Otuoke for identifying with their son in the trying period.
Oladele John Nihi, a self employed graduate, who was accompanied on the journey by two other Ladies from Lokoja and Asaba respectively,  regretted that though leaders are not celebrated when they are alive, but attributed President Goodluck Jonathan's contribution to nation development as germane and would urge the incoming administration to consolidate on the achievements for a progressive Nigeria.
It would be recalled that Oladele John Nihi, an Abuja resident embarked on the journey on 2nd of May, 2015 and arrives Otueke on 22nd of May, trekking for 19 days to show solidarity for the achievements and sole conviction by the president to concede the presidential election defeat to the opposition, the APC which according to him would have plunged Nigeria to another Burundi of Congo Democratic country.
