Ekwunife is amazon of change-Soludo

The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has described Senator Uche Ekwunife as an amazon of change of democracy in Nigeria.
Prof Soludo while speaking in Abuja during a reception organized in honour of Senator Ekwunife, representing Anambra Central Senatorial Zone described Ekwunife as a woman whose love to touch lives positively is total.
In his own remark, the Governor of Enugu state, Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi commended Senator Ekwunife for her contributions to the development of Nigeria and her constituency in particular throughout her stay at the lower chambers of the National Assembly.

Governor Ugwuanyi who arrived the venue of Ekwunife reception in company of his predecessor Mr. Sullivan Chime described Senator Ekwunife as a new face of representative democracy.
The Minister for Environment in past administration Mrs. Lawrencia said Senator Ekwunife remains a unique representative who worked hard in the lower chambers of the National Assembly as the House of Representative committee Chairman on Environment. 
"When she was the House Committee Chairman on Environment, she was so hardworking and visible to the extent that at a time she was almost the Minister, Permanent Secretary and even Directors and that was an eloquent testimony of her hard work"
The Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Political MAatters, Senator Ben Obi said he was overwhelmed by Senator Ekwunife's political sagacity while relishing how she contributed in his senatorial success in 2003.
"I knew this amazon far back in 2001 when i was a Special Adviser in President Obasanjo administration how she met the former Governor and pleaded with him to ask President Obasanjo to allow me contest for Senate and that was how I became a Senator".
The former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha while eulogizing the undying spirit of Senator Ekwunife described her as a dogged fighter who drives her convictions with absolute hard work.
Chief Ihedioha further expressed optimism that Senator Ekwunife would bring to bear her rich legislative experience at the lower Chambers of the National Assembly now she has been entrusted with bigger responsibilities as a Senator.
In her reaction, Senator Uche Ekwunife thanked the people for their show of love and belief in her capacity to bring quality representation at the upper chambers of the National Assembly while assuring them that she will never disappoint them.
She said the journey to the red chambers of the National Assembly had been torturous especially with various vilifications from Anambra state government and vicious political opponents and assured her people that what occupies her mind at this point in time is how to give them quality representation.
