SARS Anambra Parrades 10 Kidnap Suspects Recovers Bus, Motorcycle, 750 Rounds of AK-47 Live Ammunitions

 
Anambra state police command has paraded 10 suspected kidnapers and armed robbers arrested from different locations of the state for the month of September.
Addressing journalists in Akwuzu, Anambra state, the Anambra state public relation officer, Mr. Alli Ugochukwu assured resident of the state of the command resolve to ensure they enjoy the ember period devoid of crime or criminal activities.

He extolled the efforts of their fellow security agencies and the residents for providing adequate information that led to the arrest of the criminals.

He explained how a gang of three that kidnapped one Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Whiteman (expatriate), who was taken hostage from Kaduna and ransom for his released was latter paid in Anambra and other major kidnap activities were traced to these notorious gang, but finally fell to the superior fire power of the men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad Akwuzu.

‘These guys you see here are the most wanted kidnap syndicates terrorizing this state from the Onitsha axis, our men were rightly informed about their movements, they swung into action, but surprisingly, on sighting our men, they engaged our men in a serious gun duel, but with the superior fire power of the men of our Special Anti-Robbery Squad Akwuzu, they were able to bring them to down’,

Also, another  four man gang that are known for terrorizing the Ngozika/Udoka Housing Estate  Akwa have also been arrested, after a tip-off information about their operation, with the quick intervention of the men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, they were arrested along side one 56-year-Old women, who connived with her husband to kidnap one Pastor Nweke 3-year-old daughter, whisked her away for two weeks, demanding serious of ransom from the pastor before the 3-year-old girl was finally rescued by SARS.

‘ This woman and her husband were the one that kidnapped one Pastor Nweke’s three-year-old daughter in Akwa, they engaged their daughter Ada as nanny to take care of the little girl, resident at Nteje where they took the little girl to, inform the SARS squad about the incident before they were all arrested’.

‘I want to assure the residents of Anambra state that the police command in the state is battle ready to ensure their Christmas festive period  records little or no criminal harassment from these men of the underworld’ He assured..

Items recovered from the suspects were, one old AK-47 riffle, 85 Live Cartridges, 750 rounds AK-47 live ammunitions, One Locally made pistol and a 18-seaters Nissan Bus and one Motorcycle.
