Governor Obiano Endorses Njiko 2015 Carnival By Charley Boy


Nigerian  popular musician Mr. Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa popularly known as Charley Boy is no stranger to many with his controversy approach and outspokenness to public issues, but was on Wednesday hosted by the Anambra state Governor, Mr. Willie Obiano in Awka to mark the wake and endorsement of this year Njiko Carnival.
 The  carnival has been christened as the first South Eastern Nigeria  carnival for the lovers of arts and culture which is billed for the 28th – 30th December 2015 at Oguta blue lake in Imo State.
The Music crooner was hosted amidst pageantry by the governor, noting the artiste style of approach to Africa art and cultural enhancement project that  placed him (Charley Boy)  ahead of his cotemporary after Late Fela Kuti as outstanding African  ambassador for Africa Cultural  Projection  merchant.
To the admiration of all and encouragement from the Anambra number one citizen, Charley Boy and his team were urged to ensure the  sustainability of  Igbo Cultural  project, which will serve as an artifact to restoring the Igbo cultural pride that is gradually given in to the adopted western culture.
Highlight of the event was dramatic greeting that could be tagged as ceremonial Igbo greeting away from the known cultural milieu which made many to applaud the duo on the unique style of greeting with celebration approach attach..
