VIDEO: NDIGBO CELEBRATE CHETANNA MOVIE----PHOTOS








 Stakeholders have been called upon to embrace the aggressive move to sustain Igbo language speaking among its people, for it not go into extinction in the near future.
They made this advocacy at the premier of an Igbo Film, tagged CHETANNA in Awka, stressed the need to vigorously revive the eroding Igbo language which is gradually giving way to English language and urged Ndigbo to invest more in their cultural promotion. .
 
They urged government of all tiers in the zone and parents to ensure they promote the speaking of Igbo language wherever they found themselves.
Speaking at the backdrop on the drive to champion the move, borne out to ensure that Igbo speaking in inculcated in the daily activities of Igbo sons and daughter, as well as ensuring it takes its pride of place among other indigenous language film productions in the Nigeria, the Producer of the movie, Chigozie Atunya charged other Igbo film producers to join  in the drive that will promote and protect the sustainability of Igbo culture.
The Film premiere, was the first ever experienced  in awka, south east of Nigeria, drew the attention of prominent Igbo sons and daughters and top government functionaries  witnessed the maiden film premiere in the east.
