The National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party has approved the appointment of *Hon. Ugwu Cyril Uchenna* and other AGM members across the states as members of the PDP National Campaign Council for the 2023 Kogi State governorship election. This strategic decision comes as the party gear up for the upcoming 2023 Kogi governorship election, aiming to bolster its chances of success.
Hon. Ugwu Cyril Uchenna was an aspirant in the just concluded 2023 Enugu State House of Assembly Primary Election on the platform of PDP.
Hon. Ugwu Cyril Uchenna is a member of The Atikulated Global Movement (AGM) AGM is the umbrella body of over 5,000 Aspirants/candidates who contested and who won or lost election under the People’s Democratic Party in this 2023 election year. We mobilized ourselves under the AGM to work and deliver our candidates from top to bottom. From our presidential candidate H.E. Atiku Abubakar GCON Waziri Adamawa and his Vice Presidential Candidate Sen.Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the PDP gubernatorial candidates, the national assembly candidates and those of the states houses of assembly.
Recall that on the 10th of december 2022, the AGM appointed H.E. Atiku Abubakar GCON the waziri of Adamawa as our great leader in Nigerian politics, same was done on the 17th of May in Osun state by adopting H.E Sen. Ademola Adeleke as the southwest leader of all aspirants.
Hon. Ugwu Cyril Uchenna is the founder of Enugu east political frontier. He brings a wealth of experience and his youthful vigor to the position, having established himself as a respected figure in the political landscape. With an impressive track record. He will offer a unique perspective that will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the National Party’s overarching campaign strategy.
With his appointment, Hon. Ugwu will join a diverse and dynamic campaign council comprised of senior party members, strategists, policy advisors, and communication experts. Their primary responsibility will be to assist in formulating and implementing an effective campaign strategy that resonates with voters across Kogi state.
The National Campaign Council plays a vital role in coordinating various campaign efforts, such as policy development, media engagements, grassroots moblisation, fundraising, and public outreach. Cyril Uchenna's expertise will be utilized to create a cohesive and compelling narrative that aligns with the party’s core principles and that which resonates with the electorate.
