He stated this in Onitsha during a town hall meeting with stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress Zonal rally in honour of the party flag bearer General Mohammed Buhari
The erstwhile Igbo socio-cultural chief scribe lamented that Igbo are being pushed to the wall again by the policies of successive governments politicks in the country.
He said his last wish would be to see a President of Nigeria coming from the Igbo extractions which he assured would be realized under General Mohammed Buhari.
Although, General Mohammed Buhari was no physically present at the town hall meeting due to an international function, involving the two major contenders of the PDP and the APC, organized by the ECOWAS leaders talk, including INEC, all geared towards achieving a hitch free general election in Nigeria
Speaking on behalf of the APC presidential Candidate, former PDP national chairman and an APC stalwart, Chief Audu Ogbe said the south east is strategic in the anal of Nigeria politics and would not be pushed aside, when it come to having committed people with virile interest of nation building at heart.
He said that General Mohammed Buhari, if elected on the March 28th, Presidential election, would build a toll-free 2nd Niger and provide amenities capable of enlarging the scope of business atmosphere to the people of the south eastern part of Nigeria.
