Security: Anambra to collaborate with Nigerian Air Force -Obiano

Gov Willie Obiano has said that Anambra State was poised to collaborating with the Nigerian Air Force to further advance its achievements in the area of security.

This was the outcome of a meeting which he had with the Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command, of the Nigerian Air Force, Enugu, Air Vice Marshal Idi Amin yesterday at the Governor's Lodge, Awka.

Air Vice Marshal Amin who led a delegation from the Force had on arrival gone in for a close-door meeting with the Governor.

Speaking after the meeting, Gov Obiano revealed that they had fruitful deliberations hinging on how the State and the Force could partner to improve on the already thriving general security in the State.

On his part, the Air Vice Marshal who is the new Commander, explained that the visit was to familiarize and acquaint himself with the terrain in the State and galvanize the support of stakeholders in the security business towards delivering on their responsibilities.
