The next agenda was Minna Hilltop mansion of Gen.Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB).Former Head of State and the only Nigerian Military President! Off we went and got to Minna after 2 hours! Here is my meeting a man I met last as the Head of State in April 1988 when I was in primary school and I represented my school in Lafia to be among the school children that welcomed Gen.Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida(rtd),where he shook our hands and proceeded to lay the stone of building of Doma dam. We were received into his mansion and led to his office where he was seated waiting for us. Calm in his nature,he kept smiling at us as he was shaking hands with us,one after the other.
A long chat we had and all was in the building of the nation! When OUK asked IBB if he is still a PDP member,he said yes,at the ward level,and an advisor in the State,but a Statesman in the national level. High light of the discussion was when IBB asked OUK to keep supporting Jonathan and OUK said that he is Jonathan for life. Come rain come sun this 2015,Jonathan will win this election.
After a long talk and interview of IBB by OUK and the media team,we were set to go back to Abuja! At the gate of the Hilltop mansion,we met a mammoth crowd of about 30 journalist,and OUK granted an interview. The interview was short as we headed out of the mansion last gate. When we had a break on a gas station,the whole people in that area started shouting "Orji Uzor Kalu" upon sighting this man of the people.
