Two suspected armed robbers have died and One AK47 rifle and two Magazines with 18 rounds of live ammunition were recovered after the police engaged them in a gun battle them. 

Afcording to Information from the acting Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright the command upon discovering their hideout of the hoodlums opposite the Federal Road Safety Corps Office in Asaba swiftly responded injuring two of them who later died, while others escaped.

In another development, the police reacting to a distress call in Ogor, Ughelli of attack by gun men on building site dispatched a patrol team who engaged the hoodlums in a shootout and seventeen people were rescued unhurt while a Sport utility Vehicle was recovered from the scene with bullet holes. A manhunt for the fleeing suspects is ongoing.
