They debunked the claims that the leadership of the party met with the state Governor Willie Obiano, to produce the chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA as the chairman of IPAC Anambra state against the interest of other members of the union.

The Chairman, of the IPAC Anambra Steering Committee, Kenneth Emeakhaye disclosed this in Awka, while fielding question from newsmen, dissociated the union from the allegation.
The chairman, Anambra state Inter-Party Advisory Committee steering committee (IPAC), Kenneth Emeakhaye regretted that the union would be associated with the allegation, noted that they have toiled to ensure they maintain the palpable opposition to ensure good governance is achieved in the state.
Says they union would stop at nothing to ensure a credible candidate emerges as the leader of the union in Anambra state.
They maintained that the union remain one united front without been hoodwinked by any political leader in the state.
Anambra State chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) had however collapsed its structure to be led by a 7-man ad hoc committee, headed by the state All Progressives Grand Alliance state APGA chairman, Nobert Obi, to pilot the affairs of the union until a new date for the election is announced.
